The paper presents the results of a retrospective (2009–2018) analysis of the infestation of the population of Ukraine with intestinal parasitosis (reporting data of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine). There is a tendency to increase the prevalence of Blastocystis spp. Studies of 2018–2019 showed a high incidence of persons with gastrointestinal dysfunction and HIV-infected patients (30.6% and 28.0%, respectively). Invasion caused by Cryptosporidium spp. was more common in HIV-infected individuals (10.5% and 0.6%), and Blastocystis spp. — less often (15.5% and 27.2%, p <0.005) than in patients with gastrointestinal dysfunction.
