The article presents the main joint activities of the Ukrainian Medical Association with international medical organizations during the last years before the large-scale military aggression. The interaction of Ukrainian and European doctors in the fight against antimicrobial resistance and major non-infectious diseases is highlighted. The role of medical organizations in the processes of regulation of the medical industry in the countries of the European Union is considered. In the historical sequence, the main steps of the Ukrainian Medical Association regarding joining international medical organizations are reproduced.
