MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY THROUGHOUT THE UKRAINIAN PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF 1917–1920

In the article is considered the formation of medical terminology throughout 1917–1920. In March 1918, the Central Rada of the Ukrainian People’s Republic turned attention to the Ukrainian language and started to expand it`s usage in military, educational, medical, scientific and financial areas. The Ukrainian Ministry of Public Health and Guardianship, that was founded on May 8, 1918, approved the terminology commission. Ukrainian medical terminology from Arsen Richynsky’s book «Hygiene Course (Health Sciences)» was analyzed. He published the book in 1919 in Izjaslav (Khmeljnytsjkyj region currently), where worked as a doctor and taught hygiene in the Izjaslav Higher Primary School at the same time.
